Whitney Wilson Blomberg is a lover of Jesus, her family, naps, and all things Southern. Describing her beyond that becomes a bit of a conundrum… She’s a former pageant girl and wannabe Miss America, but in all those pretty dresses she had makeup covering the bruises from the basketball game the night before. She loves all things beauty (makeup, hair, fashion), yet she’s as competitive as it gets in any game whether it be on the basketball court or a heated round of paper football.
She was raised by a dynamic Southern Baptist preacher daddy, and a mama who is the epitome of a Southern belle. Not to mention, a big sister, Amberly, who was everything she wanted to be. She was taught that as long as you love the Lord, love people, and work hard, anything is possible. Just like any respectable millennial, she spends way too much time on her phone, lives for a Netflix binge or a sunny day on the lake. ANY day is a good one that includes cheering on her Mississippi State Bulldogs to a victory.
Whitney is married to Duane Blomberg from TN who is a good, hardworking, southern boy and the cutest Jack-of-all-trades. She is a makeup artist, event planner, and business owner. Together, Whitney and Duane own an Outdoor Services company, Timberline Outdoors, that specializes in expert tree removal services in Chattanooga.
Since 2012, Whitney and Duane have been on a difficult journey of infertility. God’s faithfulness and love has been poured over them regardless of their circumstances, and has given them a heart to share this journey with others even when it’s hard and even though their story doesn’t have an ending yet. The waiting in her life can often weigh her down, but come hang out with her as she tries to find the happy when it’s hard.
